Hix Gymnasium

Hix Gymnasium was constructed in 1948 and is the site for all of the Oxford Parks & Recreation offices as well as the primary location for our athletic programs. The gymnasium includes two bleacher seating areas, one regulation court or two junior courts, a volleyball court, restroom facilities, meeting room and small exercise area.


Note:

Gym Rental is only available after 6 pm and when Parks and Recreation activities are not scheduled. Only sports rentals are allowed in the gym.

REFUNDS: Rental date does not count in the notice period. For example: A rental on the 20th must be cancelled on or before the 6th in order to receive a refund based on the "14+ day notice".

14+ day notice = Rental Fee - (minus) $25 (processing fee) + deposit
7-13 day notice = 25% of Rental Fee + deposit
6 days or less notice = No refund of Rental Fee. Deposit will be refunded.
If the rental fee is not paid at time of cancellation, deposit will be used to cover cancellation policy fee.

Rentals Fees must be paid in full 10 days prior to your event or the event will be canceled.

In order to receive a refund of the deposit, facilities must be left in the condition they are found.

Only Service Animals are permitted inside this facility.

Refund checks will be mailed to the address on the rental reservation. Please allow 14 days for the refund to be processed.
